Argentina, Kings of Football
As the 2022 FIFA World Cup looms, the EA Sports FIFA 23 game performed a simulation based on player ratings and team chemistry about the celebrated sporting event and has predicted Argentina to bring home its third World Cup trophy, after being triumphant in 1978 and 1986. This means that one of the greatest players of all time, Lionel Messi has led La Albiceleste to team glory and added the last major crown that is missing from his comprehensive trophy cabinet.
Argentina had to overcome strong oppositions from European teams such as Denmark in the last 16, the Netherlands led by Memphis Depay in the quarterfinal and defending champions in the semifinal before beating their South American rival Brazil that is led by Messi’s PSG teammate, Neymar in the final. Ronaldo’s Portugal will fall against Brazil on penalties in the other semifinal and lost to France for the 3th and 4rd place battle.
